Anticommunism wants to manipulate the future of the peoples !
The recent initiative of the Socialist group of the European Parliament about the need for so-called condemnation of the crimes of totalitarian regimes which equals fascism and communism and has received support from the conservative forces in the Presidium, is a continuation of the ¨anti-communist memorandum¨¨ called ¨¨About the need of international condemnation of totalitarian communist regimes¨¨. PACE attempted to approve this memorandum previously. Frenzied anti-communist hysteria takes qualitatively new steps.
To qualify communist ideology and class struggle as a crime is aimed not just against communists. It is directed against all peoples and their movements.
The goal of anti-communists is a choice based on grounds of the imperialist strategy as a whole and is an essential component of this strategy. The turn towards this rough and open anti-communism is foregoer of a new cycle of reactionary measures against social and democratic rights of the peoples and the beginning of a new cycle of wars. Anti-communist hysteria that is using lies and prosecutions is attempting to strike the forces of resistance and of peoples contra-offensive.
Their direct goal is to apply ideological pressure on communist parties that are consistently defending the principles of the class struggle and are fighting against Imperialism under the guidance of the theory of scientific socialism- communism.
Demonstrating this anti-communist hysteria, imperialists admit that they will need new measures of repression because now; almost twenty years since the overthrowing of the socialist system in Europe, they discovered that tons of mud which they have thrown on socialism, are not enough. Now they realize that they have achieved miserable results and that the communist ideology and socialism are continuing and will continue to interest and to inspire millions of working people.
They attempt to discredit the socialism of the XX century and the revolutionary movement, they announce repressions that can be backdated against communists, who are struggling for a new world, while at the same time acquit those who have supported Nazism and collaborated with it.
They rewrite the history in a challenging way, by equalling the heroes and the criminals.
Their main goal are the communist parties, communists who live and struggle under hard conditions in former socialist countries. Their intentions are to uproot the collective memory of millions of the working people who today have the opportunity to compare for themselves the present and the past.
Already today in the Baltic States, states-members of the EU, the communist parties are forbidden and tens of their supporters are being punished in various ways while the same governments give honours and issue medals to those who were collaborating with the Nazis, and build monuments glorifying fascism.
Anticommunists demonstrate their hatred and intentions of Imperialism in relation to those countries where communist parties are the ruling ones: They try to put a halt on positive political processes and peoples rise in Latin America, in Venezuela, in Bolivia.
We are proud of the history of the international communist movement; of its contribution to the peoples and their movements. We are proud of the proletarian internationalism. And we are of opinion that only the working class has the right to review our activities and our construction of socialism critically.
Rough anti-communist propaganda makes references to the so called ¨¨ Stalinist period¨ - the period when the basis of the socialist construction was created, under conditions of a siege, internal undermining and sabotage, attempting to narrow and to defeat the struggle for the establishing of the power of the workers. It legalizes contra-revolution and throws various slanders on the revolution. Imperialism attempts to force peoples to abandon the revolutionary use of force- so that it would be able itself to use the capitalist violence without any restrictions.
The nations have defended important capitalist revolutions that have moved the humanity forward. They defended socialist –proletarian revolutions (Paris Commune, October Revolution etc). The history has proven that the pressure and the forms of the revolutionary use of force depend first of all, on the level and form of resistance of those classes who were overthrown.
During the Second World War peoples of the world have shed their blood again in process of the opposing the violence of injustice the violence of fighting for justice. They have punished those who collaborated with the occupiers. And today we witness the growing struggle against the so-called ¨legislation¨ ) thus against the laws and institutions that establish and guarantee the injustice against the working class and other groups of the population.
Workers and young people should fight against any actions aimed at blackening of socialism. Only the peoples have the right to judge the socialism – not the imperialists who have fought against it will all the available means. They are not interested in genuine learning of lessons about the mistakes; minuses, wrong decisions that were taken on this just; but difficult road unprecedented in human history.
They would like that people wouldn’t know anything; especially the young people. They are keen to put obstacles on the way towards socialism because they know that it is the only real and much necessary answer to the capitalist barbarianism.
They are attempting to persecute not just the ideas. In the first place they persecute communist and class workers struggle. The ideas and the struggle are inseparably linked.
The fact that anti-communist hysteria is being actively supported by the social democrats and ¨¨ mutant-communists¨ only confirms that the struggle against imperialism can only be successful and effective for how far it is linked with the struggle against reformism and opportunism.
The reflection of anti-communism and imperialist aggressiveness as a whole demand all-around strengthening of the workers and the communist movement, reorganization of the international communist movement; co-ordination of the mutual actions with anti-imperialist forces based on concrete ideas.
The working class and other parts of the population are interested in defeating the anti-communist hysteria that is being conducted in order to manipulate with their future
