We send warm greetings to the Workers' Party of Belgium and delegates to participate in the 12th International Communist Seminar, highly appreciating your endeavor to solidify ties between the revolutionary parties and progressive forces against the imperialists war moves for world domination.
Under the assignment of its Central Committee, the NDFSK Mission in Pyongyang delivers to the Workers' Party of Belgium the letter of the C.C., NDFKS sent from Seoul to the 12th International Communist Seminar.
Here follows the letter of the C.C., NDFKS.
To the 12th International Communist Seminar
The NDFSK extends its warmest congratulations and militant greetings to the 12th International Communist Semininar and the entire delegates of the progressive parties and organizations participated in it.
Today the world is seething with curses and blames against the piratical US occupation of Iraq. In south Korea, too, a nation-wide anti-US, anti-war peace drive against the infamous Iraqi invasion by the US and the south Korean authorities' servile troop dispatch to the war has been conducted vehemently with the attendance of more than 1000 civic and struggling organizations.
Attitude toward the US war move for world hegemony now marks a touchstone that draws a line between peace and war, independence and subjugation.
It is appreciated as a positive reply to the requirement of the critical situation that an international seminar is going to be held by the world progressive parties including the Workers' Party of Belgium in a bid to solidify the unity of the world revolutionary forces against the US war policy.
As unanimously argued by mankind, the Iraqi War unleashed by the US is an unlawful aggressive war never justifiable by any means, massacre of innocent people and piratical violation of the state sovereignty.
Still worse, the US is plotting to transfer the flames of war to the Korean peninsula. It is proved by that even amid the Iraqi War the US is amassing numerous aggressive troops in and around the Korean peninsula and aggravating the tension under the pretext of the "nuclear issue" of the DPRK. The Iraqi War can be described as the test war of a second Korean War, and further more, the preliminary war of the 3rd World War.
The south Korean people have found an evident conclusion, witnessing the hard reality of Iraq whereby even the UN and international laws were helpless and the weak master was ruthlessly defeated by the tough robber after all. The conclusion is that the aggressive war of the US is only restrainable by the invincible military power of the nation overpowering the aggressive forces and the unanimous efforts of the people united for anti-US independence.
Hence, the entire nation of the south and north of Korea are deeply feeling anew how wise and just the Songun(army-based) policy of our Marshal Kim Jong Il, brilliant commander of Baekdu, is and rise up as one on the road of supporting the Songun policy.
The DPRK is displaying the might of political and military power overwhelming the US imperialism in the forefront of the anti-imperialist, anti-US movement and we, the south Korean people, is shaking the US colonial system to its very foundation with dynamic anti-US independence struggle.
Our nation regard it as a great pride to have dealt successive hard blows to the US in the van of anti-US, anti-imperialist struggle and we are sure to win the final victory.
The US imperialists now direct their spearhead of attack against the anti-US independent states standing in the way of its world domination strategy and take to preemptive nuclear attack and piecemeal defeat strategies. If mankind remain an onlooker to the US war policy for world hegemony, the whole world will fall into the grasp of the US imperialism in the end. The current political situation demands the world progressive forces desirous of anti-imperialism and independence to unite as one to smash the naked arbitrariness and challenge of the US imperialism.
The NDFSK appeal to the world peace-loving mankind and progressive peoples who have turned out for anti-US, anti-imperialism, anti-war and peace to extend lavish support and consistent solidarity to our nation who are advancing valiantly toward independent reunification by overcoming all US challenges under the great banner of the Songun policy.
We firmly believe that the 12th International Communist Seminar to be held with the theme: "The Marxist-Leninist party and the anti-imperialist front facing the war" will deal a hard blow to the US-led imperialist war maniacs and strengthen unity and ties between the revolutionary forces and peace-loving peoples of the world who have come out in the anti-US, anti-imperialist struggle.
Besides we wish the entire delegates great success in their work at the seminar.
